The fact that we gain 90 seconds of daylight every day in January is not the only good news for the month. Here at the Gardner Ale House, we’re helping heat things up with a couple of exciting events, starting with the much-anticipated special release party on Saturday, January 12 for our unique chocolate orange Imperial stout as part of the Black Ale Project to help America’s war veterans.
If this sounds a little familiar, it’s because this is the second time we’re releasing this very special stout, called Got Your Six. We first introduced it last February and raised over $1000 for the Montachusett Veterans Outreach Center in the Greater Gardner area. It was so popular, we decided to bring it back and raise even more money for this worthy organization and the vets it supports. So if you want to help out, come on by the Ale House this Saturday the 12th and raise a glass of Got Your Six to help our vets.
And, as the TV infommercials say, “But wait, that’s not all!” On Friday, January 25th we’re turning up the heat for our infamous Beach Party. It’s back and better than ever, with fourteen Moon Hill Brewing Co. beers on tap, limbo and frozen T-shirt contests, a beach selfie photo booth, Tiki beach drinks, and non-stop dancing with music by Our Buddy Karl. Summer can’t come soon enough, so put on your favorite Hawaiian shirt and beachcomber shorts – you just might win a cash prize for Best Beachwear. The fun starts at 9PM.
Who says winter has to be dark and dreary?
